[1] The Shura Council has been abolished by the 2014 constitution of Egypt.

[2] On 29 April 2016, a second round of elections were held to fill 69 parliamentary seats for which no clear winner emerged.

[3] The general election never took place and was postponed until 2019.

[4] The election was held on 23 November 2014 and since there was no clear winner, a second round took place on 21 December 2014.
