India’s Ambassador to Iran Saurabh Kumar told Tehran Times that both the countries have good potential to strengthen bilateral cooperation in different areas. On the Iranian nuclear programme, he said “we again have a principled and long-standing position, which is to recognize Iran’s right to nuclear energy, as well as, the interest of the international community to see that Iran’s nuclear program is entirely for peaceful purpose”.Source:Tehran Times

India-Morocco sign MLA pact; to help each other in criminal, legal matters

India and Morocco signed an agreement to help each other in criminal matters and provide legal assistance wherever required, the home ministry said. The agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters was signed by Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju and Mohamed Aujjar, the minister of justice on behalf of Morocco in New Delhi. Oman Air keen on greater interaction with India,

The government of Oman has requested India to increase the number of weekly seats that Oman Air can operate to and from India — from 27,000 to 70,000 seats.In December last year, the number of weekly seats the Oman carriers were permitted to operate was increased  to 27,405, up from 21,145 seats permitted earlier.Source:The Hindu Business Line

India, Bahrain likely to sign agreement for collaboration in space tech,

Kamal Bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister for Transportation and Telecommunications, noted that Bahrain is likely to sign an agreement with Indian Space Agency ISRO for training and research purposes.
