Divya Malhotra holds M Phil from Centre for West Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Masters in Applied Economics from Christ University, Bangalore. Her main areas of interest include Israeli society and economy, Pakistan-Middle East relations and Iranian economy, society and foreign policy. During 2013-2014, she worked as a Research Intern at Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis (MP-IDSA), New Delhi. She visited Afghanistan, Israel, Pakistan and the US as a participant in international conferences. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral thesis in JNU on the Soft Power of Israel and its healthcare outreach.  She has been preparing Pakistan Watch (August 2015-February 2018 and since June 2018) for MEI.
