1. Pakistan Bahrain Joint Ministerial session held

Two-day first Bahrain Pakistan Joint Ministerial Session was held in Islamabad from 5 February to discuss prospects for political, socio-economic, developmental cooperation, with Bahraini Foreign Affairs Minister Khalid Al Khalifa and Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Advisor to Prime Minister Sartaj Aziz co-chairing the inaugural session.

4. Pakistan, Iran to add border points
Islamabad, Wednesday, 22 February 2017   
Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Iran’s Defence and Logistics Minister Hossein Dehgan reviewed opening of two additional border crossing points at Gabd Reemdan and Mand Pishin, and discussed the border security situation.

SAUDI ARABIA
11. Pakistan dismisses reports of deportation from Saudi Arabia
Islamabad, Thursday, 16 February 2017   
Media reports regarding deportation of 39,000 Pakistanis Saudi Arabia were labelled as an exaggeration and clarified that those Pakistanis who had violated local Saudi laws were imprisoned.
