1. Pak welcomes formation of Pak-Bahrain Parliamentary Friendship Society in Bahrain parliament
Islamabad, Wednesday, 26 October 2016   
In his meeting with Speaker of Bahraini Parliament Ahmed Al Mullah in Manama, Pakistan envoy Javed Malik welcomed the establishment of Pakistan Bahrain Parliamentary Friendship Group which would hold its first session on 7 November.

2. Judicial delegation calls on Chief Justice of Pak     
Islamabad, Wednesday, 26 October 2016   
Iranian delegation headed by Jafar Montazeri, Attorney General of Iran met Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Jamali in Islamabad on 25 October to discuss scope for enhanced cooperation in judiciary and legal sector, and matters pertaining prisoner exchange.

SAUDI ARABIA
3. Saudi govt. to set up special courts to resolve Pakistani labour issues
Islamabad, Monday, 31 October 2016   
Saudi Arabia has decided to establish separate courts in Jeddah, Damam, Riyadh, Mecca and Medina, and prepare a team of 99 specially trained assistant judges to resolve the ongoing issues of stranded Pakistani labour community.

4. Turkey displays solidarity with Pak over Kashmir issue in meetings and panel-discussion
Islamabad, Tuesday, 11 October 2016   
In a meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim on October 10 in Ankara, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Special Envoys Pervez Malik and Mohsin Ranjha discussed the situation in “occupied Kashmir”, urging for international intervention. On 27 October, Turkish think-tank “South Asia Strategic Research Centre” organized a panel discussion titled “Kashmir in Global and Regional Politics” in Istanbul, to reiterate support for Pakistan on Kashmir issue.

5. Pak PM sends felicitation message on Turkey’s National Day
Islamabad, Monday, 31 October 2016   
Pakistani embassy in Ankara celebrated Turkey’s 93rd National Day to commemorate formal foundation of the Turkish nation in 1923. Nawaz Sharif also conveyed his message of felicitation to his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim.

6. Yemen envoy lauds Pak’s support for Yemen
Islamabad, Monday, 31 October 2016   
In a meeting with Yemen’s new ambassador to Pak Motahar Ali-Shabi, Pakistani Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi condemned the involvement of Houthis in destabilizing Yemen’s security situation, while former appreciated Pakistan’s role in supporting Yemen.

7. Doha plans to buy combat aircrafts from Pak
Islamabad, Thursday, 27 October 2016   
In a meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Qatar’s Defence Affairs Minister Khalid Al Attiyah in Islamabad, Qatar expressed interest in buying Super Mushshak and JF-17 thunder aircraft from Pakistan and other matters concerning economic, strategic and military cooperation were discussed.

8. Turkey to import trainer jets from PAC
Islamabad, Tuesday, 4 October 2016   
Chairman of standing committee on Defence Production Abdul Qayyum announced that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) would export 100 trainer jets (Mushshaq) to Turkey in the next two years.

9. Pak-Turkey conduct naval exercise

10. Iran-Pakistan to implement trade agreements; discuss CPEC      
Islamabad, Thursday, 6 October 2016   
Iranian envoy held a meeting with the Chairman of Pakistan’s Board of Investment Miftah Ismail at Board of Investment (BoI) office in Islamabad to implement already signed trade agreements. While discussing post-sanction trade prospects, Iran reiterated the desire to join CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) project.

12. Bahrain to open Nursing University in Islamabad

Pakistan’s National Health Minister Saira Tarar held a meeting with her counterpart in Bahrain to discuss avenues for cooperation in public health. In a meeting with Minister of Follow Up Ahmed Bin Al Khalifa, Bahrain proposed a blueprint for establishing a nursing university in Islamabad.

13. Kashmir black day event organized in Tehran

Iranian academia, scholars, writers and media persons attended the Black day event organized in the Pakistan embassy premises in Tehran. Pakistan envoy Asif Durrani, while speaking on the event, highlighted Pakistan’s position on the Kashmir issue.

14. Iran-Turkey participate in Disaster-Risk Reduction Conference

High-ranking officials from 16 Asian nations including Iran and Turkey participated in the 13th annual meeting of the Regional Consultative Committee (RCC) on Disaster Management held in Islamabad from 17 to 19 October to deliberate on cooperative options for disaster risk reduction, particularly climate change.
