3. Pakistan, Iran to Increase Cooperation on IP Gas Pipeline
Islamabad, Monday, 27 October 2014
A Pakistani delegation headed by Oil Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi arrived in Tehran to present new proposals on the IP gas pipeline. Both the foreign ministers emphasized on increasing the trade transaction volume and strengthening cooperation between their trade and interior ministries.

Pakistan and Iran agreed to ensure effective border controls through enhanced communications and coordination during the Pakistan-Iran bilateral political consultations. A 15-member high level Turkish defence delegation headed by General Yasar Guler, Deputy Chief of Turkish General Staff, attended the first round of the 10th meeting of Pak-Turkey High Level Military Dialogue Group (HLMDG). After a meeting with Defence Secretary, a high level meeting took place between Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and General Guler.
