2) China launches new shipping route to Middle East
Nanning, Monday, 1 February 2016
A new shipping route has been launched linking Qinzhou Port in the Beibu Gulf, South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region and Iran. The line connects some ports in South and South East China and those in Singapore, Malaysia and the UAE before ending in the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas.

5) China to donate 10,000 tons of food to the Syrian refugees
London, Friday, 5 February 2016
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the conf on “Supporting Syria and the Region” in London announced the donation of 10, 000 tons of food to the Syrian Refugees. He also said that solving the humanitarian problem is very essential and other countries should lend a helping hand.

9) First Train from China to Iran stimulates Silk Road Revival

The first cargo train which left from Yiwu city of China on 28 January, arrived in Tehran on 15 February and it carried several cargoes and containers travelling a distance of 10,399 kilometres.
