Abraham Accord. Shepherded by President Donald Trump on 15 September, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain signed a declaration of peace and normalization with the State of Israel. Though overshadowed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the resultant global lockdown and economic meltdown, this was the most dramatic movement since the historic Arafat-Clinton-Rabin handshake on the White House Lawns in September 1993.
