Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Yi said that China condemns the recent terrorist attack on the Iranian Parliament and Ayatollah Khomeini’s mausoleum in Tehran. Appreciating Iran’s support in Belt and Road Initiative, he urged the international community to strengthen anti-terrorism cooperation.

3) China’s top legislator meets Oman’s senior political advisor

Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress (NPC) Zhang Dejiangmet with the Chairman of the Consultative Council of Oman, Khalid Hilal Al Ma’awali and discussed bilateral relations. Zhang said “Oman is an important country in the Arab world and the Middle East, with special geopolitical advantages for the Belt and Road Initiative.”

4) Egyptian flag on the largest multi-purpose supply vessel in the Middle East

Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Mohab Mamish raised the Egyptian flag on the largest multi-purpose supply vessel in the Middle East, which was built by Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard in China. The vessel apart from its navigation services, would work in the recently discovered oil Mediterranean Sea oil and gas fields.

6) China Construction Bank list 1.2 billion USD bond on Nasdaq Dubai

Dubai, Wednesday, 7 June 2017

China Construction Bank (CCB) celebrates the listing of a US$1.2 billion bond on Nasdaq Dubai. Guo You, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of CCB stated, “The capital raised through our bond supports our growing commercial banking and other activities in the UAE, the Middle East and beyond, under the Belt and Road Initiative." More than 4000 Chinese Firms operate in the UAE, helping to boost economic co-operation between the two countries.

8) Israeli Consulate in Shanghai donates celebration budget to Children

Shanghai, Thursday, 1 June 2017

Israeli Consulate General in Shanghai held a special event at Children’s Hospital of Shanghai to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Israel-China Diplomatic Relations, the 69th independence day of Israel and the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the hospital. The Consulate General in Shanghai decided to donate the money to the needy children.
