2. Iraq's operation to liberate Mosul receives international support amid humanitarian concerns
Beijing, Wednesday, 19 October 2016
China has expressed its support for the recent launch of a major offensive by the Iraqi Forces to liberate the city of Mosul, which has been the last major stronghold of Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said "China supports the Iraqi government's efforts to maintain national stability and fight terrorism. China hopes for national security and stability in Iraq at an early date".

3. Israel China Agreement on Visa Policy

The Israeli Embassy had announced the Ten-Year Visa agreement between China and Israel would become valid on 11 November 2016 and this would allow Chinese visitors to stay in Israel for 90 consecutive days with multiple entries.

The Chinese ambassador to Lebanon, Wang Kejian after meeting with director of Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) Laure Sleiman hoped that Lebanon comes out of the crisis and gains back stability and peace, so that political life would be back on track.
